dc.description.abstractTourist gaze and tourism gentrification of Gamcheon culture village is studied through Korean travel bloggers blog texts about their visit in the Gamcheon culture village with the method of qualitative content analysis. In this thesis there is discussion on using blogs as research data and how to access the blogs as research data. Main focus is on tourist gaze and what kind of tourist gaze these blog texts are building for future visitors and how tourism gentrification is seen in the blog texts. Research questions this thesis discusses are about what kind of tourist gaze is built in the Korean travel bloggers blogs and what do these blogs reveal about tourism gentrification. Korean travel blogs build consistent tourist gaze for the Gamcheon culture village. In the blogs the effects of tourism gentrifications are seen indirectly and directly.
