Kielikeskus tutkii 6

Abstract

<p>Since its inception in 2013, Kielikeskus tutkii has encouraged and facilitated research among language centre teachers both individually and collaboratively. Although this has been a series created by the University of Turku Centre for Language and Communication Studies, one of our earlier publications was written together with the University of Tampere Language Centre. This time, for our sixth publication in the series, the articles have been written by teachers from across Finland and Europe working together for our most ambitious publication yet, with authors from six different countries. The articles have been written by language teachers from the Finnish universities of Turku, Helsinki, Aalto, Hanken School of Economics, Lapland, Oulu, Eastern Finland, Åbo Akademi, Vaasa, University of the Arts, LAB University of Applied Sciences, and Jyväskylä (Movi). In Europe, we have teachers contributing from the Université de Neuchatel, the University of West Bohemia, the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Rennes 2, and Universidad Complutense, Madrid. This marks a significant step forward in the development of the series and also shows the value of collaboration across multiple language centres and borders. Consequently, this is a multilingual publication featuring articles in Finnish, Swedish, English, German and Spanish.<br></p>
